I am also not over the end of Tell Me Lies. I was delusional in my hopes that there'd be a fourth season, even though I was pretty sure there wasn't enough plot to sustain it. But I found the finale to be very fun, if a little uneven. And I will protect Wrigley at all costs.
I also think that probably it would have suffered but I can't stop thinking about it (I have not revisited the book, but I did peep the wikipedia about it and it's a rare case of the show being better than the book)

It's probably better that it ended where it did but man, I will miss my garbage trash show. Wrigley forever!

I read the book years ago but I honestly remember thinking, "That was fine!" and moving on. You might be right about the show actually being better.
I couldn't remember much about the book so I went and read a detailed summary and feel confident in my assessment about the adapatation.
