I know exactly what you mean about sobbing way too long over an octopus. I loved that book!
My favorite read from May was probably The Sorrowstones by Felix Blackwell. I'm finding that I really like middle grade/YA horror stories and this was a good one.
I love an unhinged female protagonist so A Good Person is definitely going on the list! And you're the second person I know to recently recommend Remarkably Bright Creatures, so I may have to finally get around to reading it. And I'll really interested in internet/influencer books so Julie Chan looks up my alley too 👀
Great list! I have several of these already on my TBR, and you convinced me to add the Chuck Tingle to my library :)
Oh he's fun! I hope you like him.

I loved A Good Person! I read Best Offer Wins this month, and that had a similar unlikable/unhinged narrator!
That book was so fun (both actually!) I truly love a completely delulu main character.
Stop making me want to read more books!!! I already have so many on my TBR!!!!
NEVER!! Which interest you??

Oh no one is more unhinged than the FMC in A Good Person! Julie Chan is a fun read, too. For RBC, it's lovely but bring the tissues lol.
